VV913 for premature ejaculation: a phase 2 trial

This trial tests if an oral capsule called VV913 can help men with premature ejaculation. You and your partner must track your sexual activity, and you will take the capsule before sex to see if it increases your time to ejaculation.

Who can take part

  • You are a man between 18 and 55 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with premature ejaculation (ejaculating too soon) by your doctor.
  • During a 2-4 week run-in period, you had at least 4 times of vaginal sex, with ejaculation happening within 2 minutes or less in at least 3 out of 4 of those attempts.
  • You scored 11 or higher on a questionnaire about premature ejaculation (PEDT).
  • You have been in a stable sexual relationship with the same adult female partner for at least 3 months, and plan to stay together during the study.
  • You agree to have vaginal sex at least 4 times every 28 days and to follow all study procedures.
