This trial tests if health coaching helps veterans adjust to civilian life in the first few months after leaving the military. It may help you build skills and find support during this transition.

Who can take part

  • You are a veteran, including National Guard or Reserve, who left active duty within the last 3 months.
  • You are not currently in prison, a nursing home, or another institution.
  • You can read and understand English.
  • You do not have significant memory problems (measured by a short test).
  • You are not experiencing severe substance use issues that require more intense treatment.
  • You are not at immediate risk of suicide.
