PE Coach app for veterans with PTSD therapy

Who can take part

  • Be a veteran age 18 to 65 and receive care through VA health services
  • Have a current PTSD diagnosis with a high severity score (CAPS-5 total score 26 or higher)
  • Be able to speak and read English well enough for therapy
  • Be willing to do PE psychotherapy sessions (in-person or by video) and use a mobile device
  • Not have certain conditions that make PE or assessments difficult (major brain/memory disorders, severe neurological disease, or severe past TBI)
