This trial tests artificial intelligence (AI) models to predict whether a lung nodule found on a CT scan is likely cancerous. You may join if you have a nodule that will be biopsied or removed surgically, and your doctors can confirm its exact diagnosis.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have at least one lung nodule on a chest CT scan, and it is no bigger than 3 cm across.
  • The nodule will be biopsied or removed within 6 months of the CT scan.
  • You have not had chemotherapy, radiation, or other treatments for this nodule between the CT scan and the biopsy/surgery.
  • You do not have a history of other cancers (except non-small cell lung cancer).
  • You are willing and able to sign a consent form.
