Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You came to the ER with symptoms like chest pain, trouble breathing, heart pounding, fainting, dizziness, or fever along with heart or lung issues.
  • You had both an electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) and a chest X-ray done during your ER visit.
  • You are expected to stay in the ER or be admitted to the hospital for at least 24 hours.
  • You are able and willing to sign a consent form to participate.
