  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have type 2 diabetes and take (or need to start) long-acting insulin.
  • You find health information difficult to understand, as determined by a short screening test.
  • You can speak one of the languages used in the study voice calls.
  • You have a working phone (even a basic one) and can receive automated calls.
  • You are willing to check your blood sugar in the morning and follow the study plan for 12 weeks.
