Who can take part

  • You must be between 21 and 60 years old.
  • You need at least 8 years of formal schooling.
  • You must speak Portuguese fluently.
  • You must be willing to stop using recreational drugs, herbal supplements, and certain medications for one week before the study session.
  • You must avoid caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours before the session, and avoid caffeine and nicotine for a few hours after.
  • You cannot have a history of serious mental illness (like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder) or certain medical conditions (heart, brain, liver, or stomach diseases).
