Who can take part

  • You must have a confirmed diagnosis of type 1 diabetes.
  • You are between 14 and 65 years old.
  • Your most recent HbA1c (average blood sugar over 3 months) is less than 11%.
  • You've had type 1 diabetes for at least 3 months, and you've been using either multiple daily insulin injections or an insulin pump for at least 3 months.
  • You are willing to wear a study device (like a pump or sensor) at all times and use specific fast-acting insulins (aspart or lispro).
  • You can do at least one blood sugar check by fingerstick each day and upload data from the device.
  • You are willing to learn about diabetes self-management and how to use the study device.
