Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have paroxysmal or persistent atrial fibrillation (afib).
  • You agree to take part in the study.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 35 or less.
  • Your heart's pumping ability (ejection fraction) is at least 40%.
  • You do not have severe heart valve problems, untreated sleep apnea, severe COPD, severe pulmonary hypertension, or myasthenia gravis.
