This trial tests whether it is safe to stop taking aspirin after one month of dual blood thinner therapy (aspirin plus clopidogrel) in people who received stents for a heart attack or unstable angina. If you have been stable for a month with no bleeding or new heart events, this study explores whether just one blood thinner (clopidogrel alone) can be enough while lowering bleeding risk.

Who can take part

  • You had a heart attack or very unstable chest pain and got stents to open blocked arteries.
  • All the important blockages were fixed during one procedure, and your blood flow was restored completely.
  • You took two blood thinners (like aspirin and clopidogrel) every day for one month without problems like bleeding or new heart issues.
  • You are not taking a blood thinner for another reason (like atrial fibrillation or blood clots) and do not have any other condition that requires long-term blood thinners.
  • You have no history of serious bleeding, brain hemorrhage, or bleeding disorders.
