Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have had a heart procedure to place a stent in a blocked artery, or are about to have one.
  • You have had unstable chest pain, a heart attack (with or without ST elevation), or stable chest pain requiring a stent.
  • You are willing to take aspirin and a second blood thinner for at least a few months after the procedure.
  • You have no history of a stroke or permanent brain injury in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have severe kidney disease (on dialysis or eGFR below 20).
