Who can take part

  • You are between 35 and 54 years old
  • You have had a lobectomy (surgery to remove a lung lobe)
  • It has been at least 48 hours after your surgery
  • Your heart and blood pressure are stable
  • You can breathe well enough to keep oxygen levels up without help
  • You are willing and able to do breathing exercises with a small handheld device
