Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You must have a diagnosis of major depressive disorder (moderate to severe depression).
  • Your depression symptoms must be significant enough (a score of 17 or higher on a standard depression scale).
  • You cannot have other mental health conditions like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.
  • You cannot have serious physical illnesses or recent substance abuse.
  • If you are female, you cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy during the study.
