Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 20 to 89
  • You have been diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) or invasive breast cancer (confirmed by biopsy)
  • You have finished active breast cancer treatment (surgery, radiation, chemo, immunotherapy, or hormonal therapy) – you cannot be on chemotherapy now
  • You have at least 3 months of supervised resistance training (weight lifting) experience under a certified strength coach
  • You are not taking beta blockers or GLP-1 inhibitor medications, and have no severe joint, heart, or muscle problems that would make weight lifting unsafe
