This study tests an investigational eye drop called OT202 to see if it helps people with moderate to severe dry eye. If you join, you'll receive either the study drug or a placebo (no active ingredient) and have your symptoms and eye health monitored for several months.

Who can take part
- You are between 30 and 75 years old.
- You have had dry eye symptoms for at least 6 months, and have used or are willing to use eye drops for dry eye.
- Your vision is good enough to read the eye chart (at least 20/80 or better).
- You have a certain level of eye surface damage and tear film problems, confirmed by a doctor's exam.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, and agree to use birth control if needed.
- You can stop using all eye drops (except the study drug) and certain other medications for a few days to a few weeks before and during the study.
