  • You are scheduled to have a temporary double-J stent (a small tube that helps your kidney drain urine).
  • The stent is placed for a common urinary issue, like kidney stones, a blockage, after surgery, or to help a ureter heal.
  • Your stent will be removed during the study period, and you can come to follow-up visits.
  • You can provide samples (like urine) when the stent is put in and when it's taken out.
  • You are not currently fighting a severe urinary infection (urosepsis).
  • You do not have a permanent stent or other drainage tubes that might affect the results.
