Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are scheduled to have kidney stones removed with a scope
  • Your kidney stone is 8 to 25 millimeters in size
  • You do not have a stone in your ureter (tube from kidney to bladder)
  • You do not have an active infection or cancer in your urinary tract
