- You are 18 years or older
- You are scheduled to have kidney stones removed with a scope
- Your kidney stone is 8 to 25 millimeters in size
- You do not have a stone in your ureter (tube from kidney to bladder)
- You do not have an active infection or cancer in your urinary tract
