Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You need a dental implant in a lower back tooth (molar) that has been healed for at least 3 months after the tooth was removed
  • The spot for the implant is big enough for a 4.1 x 10 mm implant
  • Your gums are healthy: bleeding on probing is less than 20%
  • Your teeth are clean: plaque index is less than 25%
  • You do not smoke 10 or more cigarettes per day, do not have uncontrolled gum disease or diabetes, are not an alcoholic, and are not taking medicines that slow bone healing
