This study combines brain stimulation with physical exercise to see if it can improve thinking and memory in people with schizophrenia. You will get both treatments and be tested on cognitive functions.

Who can take part

  • You have a schizophrenia spectrum disorder, such as schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder.
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You can speak and understand Chinese, because the tests are in Chinese.
  • You have done less than 10 hours of exercise in the past 3 months.
  • You do not have severe physical health problems, like recent heart attack, uncontrolled high blood pressure, fractures, or serious back problems that make exercise unsafe.
  • You do not have metal implants or devices in your body, such as a pacemaker, aneurysm clips, or any internal metal objects, and you are not pregnant.
