Who can take part
- You are 22 years or older.
- You are scheduled to have a hysterectomy for a benign (non-cancerous) condition.
- You agree to attend a follow-up visit 6 weeks after your surgery.
- You are not having any other major surgery at the same time (removal of fallopian tubes or ovaries is allowed).
- You do not have cancer of the reproductive organs.
- If you have fibroids, the largest one must be 10 cm or smaller.
