  • Age 21 to 70 years
  • Able to read and understand English
  • Overweight or obese (with enough body fat to affect health)
  • No major weight changes (more than 3 kg) in the past 3 months
  • Not doing intense regular exercise recently
  • If you take medication for blood pressure, cholesterol, or diabetes, you must have been on them for at least 3 years
