Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • You must have anisometropic amblyopia (lazy eye caused by a difference in prescription between your eyes).
  • Your vision in the weaker eye must be significantly worse than in the stronger eye (at least 2 lines on an eye chart, and worse than 20/32).
  • You cannot have other eye diseases, neurological conditions, or be on chronic medications.
  • You cannot have any implanted devices (like a pacemaker) or metal in your head (except dental work).
  • You must not be pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study.
