Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You have had thyroid cancer that was treated before, including papillary, follicular, or poorly differentiated types, or medullary thyroid cancer.
- You must have signs of cancer on a regular scan (like ultrasound or CT) OR have certain blood tests that suggest cancer is still present.
- You must agree to have both a standard PET scan and a new PET scan using a special tracer.
- You cannot have had other cancer treatments within the 4 weeks before the PET scan.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you cannot have another type of cancer.
