  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with moderate to severe acute pancreatitis within the last 24 hours
  • You are not pregnant or incarcerated
  • You do not have serious heart, kidney, or liver disease
  • You are able to move your legs (for example, do a straight leg raise) without missing a limb
