Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old.
  • You have cancer and are scheduled to receive radiation to your belly or pelvic area.
  • You do not have active gut inflammation or severe diarrhea before starting radiation.
  • You are expected to complete the full radiation course and a 1-month follow-up visit.
  • You are willing to provide blood samples and fill out questionnaires about your symptoms, nutrition, and quality of life.
