Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are scheduled for a liver transplant
  • You have tested positive for a type of resistant bacteria in your body (this is called CPE)
  • You do not currently have an active infection from this bacteria
  • You do not have a known allergy to the antibiotics used in the study
