  • You are scheduled for a frenectomy (gum surgery).
  • You have not had gum surgery before.
  • You have not used a virtual reality headset before.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have conditions like claustrophobia or vertigo, and you are not taking certain psychiatric or sedative medications.
