- Scheduled for shoulder arthroscopy under general anesthesia
- Generally healthy (ASA I-III) or with well-controlled medical conditions
- Able to understand and report pain levels (e.g., using a 0-10 scale)
- No allergies to local anesthetics, no bleeding disorders, no nerve damage in the affected arm, no severe lung disease or diaphragm dysfunction, no chronic opioid use, no pregnancy/breastfeeding, and no history of chronic pain syndrome
