Nerve block for pain after hip fracture surgery in older adults
Part of Injuries & trauma, Pain clinical trials.
This study tests a nerve block (a numbing injection near the hip) to see if it improves pain control for older adults having hip fracture surgery. It compares the nerve block to usual pain care. You may be eligible if you are 65 or older, are having hip surgery, and are in generally good health.

This study tests whether a nerve block given before surgery can help older adults with hip fractures have better pain control and recovery. It compares standard care with an extra injection near the hip to numb the area before the operation.
This trial compares two different nerve-blocking techniques to help manage pain after hip fracture surgery. Both methods numb the area around your hip to reduce pain and may help you recover better.
This study tests whether a one-time nerve block with a longer-lasting numbing medicine can reduce pain after hip replacement surgery better than the standard approach. It may help you use fewer pain pills and feel more comfortable while you recover.
This study compares two types of numbing injections (nerve blocks) used to reduce pain after hip fracture surgery. Researchers want to see which method works better to help patients recover with less pain.
This trial compares two types of nerve blocks to see which provides better pain relief during hip fracture repair. You may be eligible if you are 50 or older, have a broken hip, and are scheduled for surgery with spinal anesthesia.
This trial compares two different nerve-block techniques (pain-relief injections) to see which one works better for patients having surgery to repair a broken hip. Both methods numb the area around the hip so you feel less pain during and after surgery.
