Body scans to predict ovarian cancer treatment response

Who can take part

  • You are a woman over the age of 18.
  • Your doctor suspects you have epithelial ovarian cancer (the most common type of ovarian cancer).
  • You have not received chemotherapy or other similar cancer treatments before.
  • You are planning to have surgery to remove the tumor (called debulking).
  • You are generally able to care for yourself and are not bedridden (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
  • Your diabetes is well controlled (if you have diabetes, your hemoglobin A1C must be under 9%).
