Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have a flat or slightly raised colon polyp that is about 10 to 20 millimeters (similar to the size of a pea) and needs to be removed.
- You agree to have the polyp removed during a colonoscopy procedure.
- You are able to stop taking blood-thinning or anti-clotting medicines for at least one week before the procedure (with your doctor's guidance).
- You have not had colon surgery in the past, and you do not have a history of inflammatory bowel disease, familial adenomatous polyposis, or colorectal cancer.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not have other serious health problems like advanced cancer or end-stage kidney disease.
