- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have one or more flat, non-cancerous colon polyps (10-20 mm) detected during a colonoscopy.
- You are willing to have the polyps removed with endoscopy and sign a consent form.
- If you take blood thinners or antiplatelet medication, you must be able to stop them for at least 1 week before the procedure.
- You have not had past colorectal surgery and do not have conditions like inflammatory bowel disease, familial adenomatous polyposis, or a history of colorectal cancer.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you do not have severe health problems (like severe heart disease, liver cirrhosis, chronic kidney disease, or other cancers) that would make the procedure risky.
