Who can take part

  • You are a Japanese adult (assigned male or female at birth) and agree to use contraception if needed.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 25 or higher.
  • Your weight has been stable (less than 5% change) for the past 3 months.
  • You do not have type 1 or type 2 diabetes.
  • You have no history of significant allergies, severe psychiatric disorders, chronic heart, liver, or kidney conditions, or certain gastrointestinal issues.
  • You have not used prescription weight-loss medications in the past 3 months and have not had obesity surgery.
