Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 years or older).
  • You are scheduled for elective (planned, not emergency) surgery with general anesthesia.
  • Your doctor plans to use a breathing tube called an LMA (laryngeal mask airway) to help you breathe.
  • You are generally healthy or have mild to moderate health conditions (classified as ASA I-III).
  • You are not pregnant and do not have severe anatomical issues in your neck or airway.
