Who can take part
- You are between 22 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes for at least 6 months.
- Your most recent HbA1c is between 7.5% and 10.5% (or between 7.5% and 9.0% if you take 4 different diabetes medications).
- You have a body mass index (BMI) between 27 and 40 (your weight in kilograms divided by your height in meters squared).
- You are not currently using insulin (you may have used it in the past for less than a month in the last 2 years).
