Who can take part

  • You are a woman under 35 years old (or an egg donor under 35).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is between 18 and 25.
  • You have a normal ovarian reserve, meaning your antral follicle count is 8 or more and your AMH level is between 1.5 and 4.5 ng/mL.
  • This is your first IVF cycle.
  • You are using a specific stimulation protocol called PPOS with recombinant FSH and dydrogesterone.
  • You need IVF with ICSI (injecting a single sperm into an egg) and plan to grow embryos to the blastocyst stage.
  • You do not have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ovarian structural abnormalities, or ovarian endometriosis.
  • You do not have medical conditions that could affect your response to stimulation.
  • You do not need LH supplementation during stimulation.
  • You and your partner do not have poor sperm quality or use surgically retrieved, frozen, or donor sperm.
  • You do not need artificial oocyte activation or rescue ICSI.
