  • You are between 20 and 59 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 28 or higher, but below 40.
  • You are willing to follow a diet plan for weight loss.
  • You do not have any digestive problems, food allergies, or past stomach surgery that could affect a diet.
  • You do not have conditions like thyroid problems, type 1 diabetes, or heart disease, and you are not taking medications that affect weight or blood sugar.
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
