Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must have colorectal or breast cancer that has spread to the liver, and you must be scheduled for surgery to remove the liver metastases.
- You must have had an MRI or CT scan of the liver within 12 weeks before surgery (ideally within 4 weeks).
- You cannot have had radiofrequency ablation or chemoembolization as a prior treatment for the liver metastases that will be operated on.
