Who can take part

  • You have liver metastases from gastrointestinal (bowel) cancer confirmed by tissue testing or suspected on CT scan
  • At least one liver tumor is 1 cm or larger
  • You are well enough to do daily activities (WHO performance score 0–2)
  • Your first or second planned palliative chemotherapy includes oxaliplatin plus either capecitabine (CAPOX) or 5-fluorouracil with folinic acid (FOLFOX)
  • You can and are willing to sign informed consent
  • You can safely complete an MRI scan (no certain implants/metal, aneurysm clip, or severe claustrophobia)
