Who can take part

  • You must be between 40 and 59 years old.
  • You must be of Mexican nationality.
  • You must have a body mass index (BMI) above 30, or a waist circumference greater than 90 cm (men) or 80 cm (women).
  • You must not have kidney or liver disease, or be taking medication for an inflammatory condition.
  • You must not be currently undergoing obesity treatment (medication, diet, or exercise program).
