This trial compares two treatments for erectile dysfunction (ED): platelet-rich plasma (PRP, made from your own blood) alone, or PRP combined with low-intensity shock wave therapy (sound waves applied to the penis). PRP is thought to help repair tissue, and shock waves may improve blood flow. The goal is to see if adding shock waves works better than PRP alone.

Who can take part

  • You are a man between 30 and 65 years old.
  • You have had erectile dysfunction for at least 3 months.
  • Your ED is mild to moderate, as determined by a questionnaire called IIEF-5 (score 8-21).
  • You are in a stable heterosexual relationship for at least 6 months and are sexually active, attempting sex at least once a week.
  • You do not have severe health conditions like uncontrolled diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, or recent heart attack or stroke.
  • You are not taking certain medications like nitrates, alpha-blockers (unless a stable low dose), or other ED pills.
