Who can take part
- You must be 18 or older with stage 4 cancer (breast, colon, lung, melanoma, etc.)
- Your cancer must have progressed after at least one standard treatment, or you have declined more standard therapy
- We need a sample of your tumor (from a past biopsy or a new one) to study your cancer's unique markers
- You must be fairly active and able to care for yourself (Karnofsky score of 60 or more)
- Your blood counts, kidney and liver function must be within acceptable ranges
- You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding, and must agree to use effective birth control during and 6 months after treatment
