Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You are having open surgery to remove a kidney at the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University.
  • You are in generally good health (classified as ASA II or III by your doctor).
  • Your weight is within a healthy range (BMI between 20 and 35).
  • You do not have allergies to the medicines used in the study, and you do not have conditions that prevent safe nerve blocks (like infections or bleeding problems).
