  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You are scheduled to have a total ankle replacement surgery.
  • You are not currently taking opioid pain medications.
  • You do not have severe liver or kidney disease.
  • You have not recently had heart failure or a heart attack.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are not taking certain medications that interact with the study drug (like some antifungals or rifampin).
