Testing a new pain medicine after lower back fusion surgery
Treatments studied
Part of Pain clinical trials.
This study tests a non-opioid pain medicine called suzetrigine (also known as Journavx) to see how well it controls pain after lower back surgery. It might be a good option if you're having lumbar fusion surgery and want to avoid the side effects of opioid painkillers.

This trial tests a new painkiller called suzetrigine for post-surgery pain. It's designed for people whose medical records suggest they may have a higher chance of needing strong painkillers (opioids) long after surgery. We want to see if suzetrigine works better at preventing that.
