Treatment for paraffin granuloma with calcium problems
Treatments studied
Part of Hormones & metabolism, Injuries & trauma, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.
This study tests a treatment for men with paraffin granuloma (a condition where the body reacts to injected paraffin) who also have high calcium levels, low parathyroid hormone, or kidney stones. The treatment may help manage these calcium-related issues.

This trial looks at people who previously received a paraffin oil injection and may have related health effects, such as high calcium levels. It aims to better understand what happens after this type of injection and what care may be needed.
This trial tests if a diabetes medication (SGLT2i) can help prevent calcium kidney stones. Researchers want to see if it changes the way your urine absorbs and processes minerals.
This study tests if a type 2 diabetes medication (SGLT2 inhibitor) can help people with frequent gout flares. It aims to lower uric acid levels and reduce flare-ups.
This trial tests if empagliflozin, a medication typically used for diabetes, can help people with metabolic syndrome (a cluster of conditions like large waist size, high blood sugar, and high blood pressure). It may improve health and reduce the risk of heart disease.
This trial tests if a diabetes medicine called empagliflozin can help people with Fontan circulatory failure feel better and do more of their daily activities.
This trial tests a medicine called empagliflozin (usually used for diabetes) to see if it can help people with very advanced kidney disease and diabetes. The study will check if this drug can slow down further kidney damage and improve overall kidney health.
