- You are 18 years or older
- You have Fontan circulatory failure that limits your daily activities
- You have not changed your water pill (diuretic) dose or started a new water pill in the last 2 weeks
- You are not currently taking or have not taken an SGLT2 inhibitor (like empagliflozin) in the last 12 weeks
- You do not have type 1 diabetes
- Your kidney function is not severely reduced (eGFR of 30 or higher)
