Chinese herbal medicine to protect kidneys during radiation therapy

This study tests a traditional Chinese herbal medicine (called Zhixiao Tongmai Ning) to see if it can protect your kidneys from damage caused by radiation therapy. If you have kidney cancer and are receiving radiation, this treatment might help keep your healthy kidney tissue working better.
