Who can take part

  • You had kidney surgery where the blood flow to the kidney was stopped for 30 minutes or less.
  • You meet the study's Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis criteria.
  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You do not have severe kidney disease (stage 4 or 5) or acute kidney failure.
  • Your kidney problem is not caused by lupus, certain drugs, or other secondary conditions.
