Physical function before lung surgery and breathing complications after
Part of Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study uses lung ultrasound before surgery to see if it can help predict breathing complications after major non-chest surgery. If you are having a long surgery under general anesthesia, this could help your care team better monitor and protect your lungs.
This study measures your lung function and physical fitness before surgery to see if these tests can predict how quickly you'll recover. The researchers want to understand which patients might have an easier or harder recovery after their operation.
This study looks at whether a simple test from your blood and your physical health rating can help predict if you might have lung problems after a major surgery on your belly area. The goal is to help doctors plan better care for older patients during and after surgery.
This study looks at how much pain people have after lung surgery and how it affects their everyday activities. It checks pain before surgery, during the hospital stay, and for 6 months after, to help improve recovery.
