NCT06266832Recruiting· Phase 2
Short-course radiation with immunotherapy and chemo for rectal cancer

This trial tests a combination of short-course radiation, an immunotherapy drug (adebrelimab), and chemotherapy (CAPEOX) before surgery to help preserve the rectum in people with MSS/pMMR ultra-low rectal cancer. The goal is to shrink the tumor enough to avoid removing the rectum.

NCT06931873Not yet recruiting· Early Phase 1
Chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy before surgery for low rectal cancer

This trial tests combining standard chemotherapy and radiation with an immunotherapy drug (QL1706) before surgery for low rectal cancer. The goal is to see if this approach shrinks tumors more effectively and improves outcomes.

NCT07134101Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
Chemotherapy and radiation before surgery for low rectal cancer

This trial tests giving chemotherapy and radiation before surgery to people with advanced rectal cancer that is low in the rectum. The goal is to shrink the tumor enough to allow the surgeon to save the sphincter (the muscle that keeps you from leaking stool), so you might avoid a permanent colostomy bag.

NCT05969847Not yet recruiting· Phase 2
Immunotherapy and chemo before surgery for low rectal cancer

This trial tests a new combination treatment (enverolimab plus standard chemotherapy) given before surgery for very low rectal cancer. The goal is to shrink the tumor so much that patients may avoid surgery and keep their rectum, but the study is for those who haven't had treatment before.
